General Information

Program Objectives

This diploma is aimed at students with high ambitions who seek to become qualified engineers. Our students develop in depth knowledge of the key principles of engineering as well as gaining an understanding for the multi-disciplinary nature of civil engineering industry. It is our goal that students are independently able to design systems, components or processes through interpreting data accurately while taking into account context-related factors such as environmental, social, political or ethical aspects. In order to reach these objectives the course uses modern techniques and tools, while combining theoretical teaching with ample practical components as well as a mandatory internship in the third year of study.

Career Prospects

Successful graduates could work for consultancies, contractors or local authorities. Civil engineers could be engaged in road building, construction of buildings or the building of bridges, tunnels or ports. They could also work in areas such as transportation, water supply or power supply. Any related fields which require construction work will be spheres in which our graduates can work with full autonomy. Potential job titles may include foreman, construction technician or construction site manager.
